The Liberty Park HOA is currently seeking to appoint a new Trustee and a Sargent-at-Arms.
The positions were vacated by their previous holders, and this is an opportunity for you to become involved in the operations and decision making in regards to our community well system. It’s also a great way to give back and help to build a stronger community.
> The Trustee is a voting member of the HOA Board of Directors, and the position is compensated at an hourly rate (currently $14/hr) for authorized work completed on behalf of the HOA.
> The Sgt-at-Arms is a non-voting member of the HOA Board of Directors, and the position is compensated at an hourly rate (currently $14/hr) for authorized work completed on behalf of the HOA.
> Both position have the option to have their water assessment covered.
From ARTICLE III, Section 4 of the Liberty Park By-Laws :
e. TRUSTEES: The three Trustees shall have duties and titles based on
their tenure in office. Principal overall responsibilities which cannot
be changed are:
- To participate in the formation or policy decisions regarding all
Association business.- To enforce the bylaws.
- To assume the overall responsibility pertaining to the exterior
system and to ascertain that it is returned to good working
condition in the event of a breakdown or problem as speedily as
possible
f. SERGEANT-AT-ARMS: The Sergeant-at-Arms will be appointed by
the President.
- The Sergeant-at-Arms will greet members upon arrival, introduce
those who are attending meetings for the first time, have everyone
sign Attendance Record, and any other duties as designated by the
Board of Directors.
