Join your neighbors on Sunday, January 28th in the community building from 1pm-3pm for the first ever Liberty Park “Buy Nothing” event.
What’s a Buy Nothing? It’s just that! This is an opportunity to give away or trade clean, functional items that your no longer have a use for. Services may also be given away or traded.
This is also a great time to meet your neighbors, see what is being given away and if any of it would be useful to you. You do not need to have items to give away or trade in order to participate.
For the sake of space and efficiency, this first event will be for household items and winter clothing ONLY. (i.e. lamps, small appliances, décor items, coats, boots, sweaters, etc)
Event guidelines :
- All items MUST be clean and functional
- All items must be able to be carried or fit easily into a car
- Please limit clothing items to no more than 12 pieces
- No political, alcohol, or cigarette paraphernalia
- No illegal items, substances, or weapons
- No used under garments
- Trading is allowed, but not required
- All participants must remove their remaining items when the event is over
- Absolutely no money will change hands – if you are found to be requesting money you will be asked to leave immediately and barred from any future Buy Nothing events
